The Purpose of Education
First
Chong Shin University was established based on Calvinistic Reformed Theology, and at the same time, practices preparatory theological education for training pastors and Christian leaders.
Second
Its purpose is to train capable pastors, and layman leaders who will serve churches under the order of the General Assembly of Overseas Korean Presbyterian Churches (GAOPC-Hap-Dong).
Third
Its purpose is to exercise learning, piety and character in order to practice Puritanistic high and moral life under the principle of Faith of Reformism.
PLAN to PRACTICE

First, to be a person who has assurance of the Word by righteously learning and recognizing the truth which is the Word of God.

Second, to research, in depth, all learning, and practice right what has been learned in order to fulfill real cultural missions.

Third, to establish new valuable views under piety and learning, to be a right personal with sense of mission to serve church and world.

Fourth, graduates of this graduate School are trained to be able to instruct religious education for the second generation after being trained thoroughly in English for 3 years while in school, and they are also trained to preside, pray, and sermonize at the service in English.
